How does the subscription work?

• You subscribe to HoneyComber Club or gift a subscription to a very lucky friend.
• We comb the country for the best tasting raw honeys produced by family-owned apiaries who are committed to making the world a better place for bees and humans.
• We send 3 amazing, raw honeys to your door each month in a HoneyComber Club box with an information sheet on the honey varieties and their apiaries. Stock up on your favorites in our online store.
• Your subscription will automatically renew for another term of your selected plan: 1, 3, 6, or 12 months. View our terms here.
• Gift subscriptions end once the purchased term (3, 6, 12 months) is complete.

Can I cancel my subscription renewal?

No Bee-S! You can cancel your subscription renewal at any time. The canellation will take effect for the plan term following your then-current term.

We cannot cancel a subscription part-way through your selected plan's commitment period. A cancellation part-way through a commitment period will take effect on the next renewal.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Gift Subscription FAQs

What's different about a gift subscription?

Our gift subscription has some added flexibility to make gifting easy!

• Purchasing a gift subscription allows you to customize a message to the gift recipient and select a date to send that message.
• Our gift subscription is offered for 3, 6, or 12 months. A gift subscription will not renew automatically.
• Payment for gift subscriptions is billed in full at the time of purchase.
• These gift subscriptions are non-refundable after the first box has been shipped.

Can gift subscriptions be cancelled or refunded?

Gift subscriptions cannot be cancelled or refunded once purchased.

Shipping FAQs

When will I get my Honeycomber Club box?

Generally, you can expect your box at your door within the third week of each month.

For new orders that are placed after the second week of the month, we will ship the current month's box as soon as we receive the order, until the last day of the month.

Where will you ship?

Currently we support subscriptions and other sale shipments in the lower 48 states of the US.

Raw Honey and Other FAQs

What is Raw Honey?

Raw honey comes directly from the hive and is not overly processed, heated, or filtered like liquid honey you may find at the grocery store. Because of this minimal processing, raw honey maintains many health benefits that are processed out of many store bought honeys. My honey arrived crystallized!

This is completely normal! Raw honey maintains many of the healthy, natural particles that seed crystalization at low temperatures. It's delicious in this form as a spread on toast and cheese. If you would prefer your honey in liquid form, immerse the jars in hot water. Keep the temperature below 100℉ to avoid destorying raw honey's beneficial properties.

How do you select raw honeys for the subscription?

1) We spend a lot of time combing. We comb the web; we comb through our connections in the industry (Beekeeping is a very popular hobby, and you may be surprised by the number of unexpected connections you have in the beekeeping world!), and we comb the country's apiaries by RV. (You can read more about our travels to find honey on our blog, and you can follow along with our travels on our social media channels.)

2) We do a preliminary screening before calling or meeting with each and every apiary. We introduce ourselves, ask about their founding stories and mission, and chat in depth about their beekeeping and honey processing practices and values.

3) If an apiary is dedicated to responsible beekeeping and raw honey production, we purchase raw honey from the apiary and conduct a blind taste trial with family and friends.

4) After we establish a strong, personal relationship with the apiary and get two thumbs up in the honey taste trials, we slate the apiary into our HoneyComber Club delivery schedule!

PLEASE NOTE: RAW HONEY WILL CRYSTALIZE NATURALLY. Many find it extra tasty this way and perfect for spreading on toast. If you prefer your honey in liquid form, you can immerse the jar in a hot water bath.
